The hills overlooking Leh take on a golden hue in the late afternoon light. It was in the middle of December - early winter in Ladakh - when I made this shot. The temperature stood at a mind numbing minus twenty degrees (hey, nobody said the job's gonna be easy!) when my plane landed in Leh that morning, though it did get a bit warmer after that. |
