One of the aims of our travel & cultural photography tours, workshops & expeditions to Ladakh - India is to give participants the opportunity to experience first-hand the unique set of beliefs, customs, practices and the way of life that gives a people a sense of collective identity. That is what we define as Culture. |
Not for us then, is the practice of rushing participants from place to place. We believe that cultural interactions demand time, as does photography. We believe in going the extra mile - seeking out what normal tourists do not. And at times, our cultural interactions work wonders - as it did in this case where we got invited deep into the bowels of the earth into the kitchen of a monastery. |
