The dancer in this image wears a mask depicting one of the more "wrathful" deities of the Tibetan pantheon. Monks wearing masks that depict wrathful & semi-wrahtful deities make their appearance in the Chaams both during the dance of Mahakala, as well as the Heruka dances. |
