| India: Man amidst camels, Pushkar |

This image is a study of how an incongruous element goes a long distance in making a shot. The camels belong there (it is the Camel Fair, after all). The herder / trader belongs there (it is a fair, remember? And where there is a fair, there'll be traders)... |
And the tree? That's the incongruous element. I mean, why go out of one's way to include a tree in what's obviously (is it?) an image of a man amidst camels? Remove the tree from the image, and it becomes a very boring image, really. That incongruous image is what really makes the shot. As does the loud dash of color of the man's turban in what is an otherwise almost monochromatic shot. |
