The Pushkar Camel Fair actually consists of two parts: The first being the actual camel trading itself, which is a run-up to the thousands of pilgrims who flock Pushkar to bathe at the holy lake there on the night of the full moon on Kartik Purnima. The town takes on an increasing carnivalesque look at the new moon approaches. I was lucky to spot a camel near one of the ferris wheels set up to cater to the droves of pilgrims. Not to miss an opportunity when I see one, I chose a look-up perspective  to make this image.
